One of my favorite business quotes is by Patrick Leoncini in the introduction to his 2002 book, The Five Dysfunctions of a Team. He wrote: "The fact remains that teams, because they are made up of imperfect human beings, are inherently dysfunctional."
After working at Google for eight years as Head of Product Partnerships, today I work for myself in the area of team development in corporations. My undergraduate degree is from Harvard University and I hold an MBA from Columbia University.
I focus on the following:

- defining team norms
- reducing group conflict
- using metrics to help guide work
Some of the things I enjoy doing and can help with:
- team development activities
- offsite facilitation
- other corporate learning and development
